Federal Funding Secures Workforce and Training Stability

A year long federal funding bill signed into law on February 3 reauthorizes the Teaching Health Center GME program through 2029, extends telehealth flexibilities through 2027 and continues funding for community health centers and the National Health Service Corps.

These provisions offer greater funding predictability for training programs and sustain workforce pipelines and care access in high need communities.
