There’s plenty happening as you welcome new interns and support returning residents. This month's updates include an important deadline, practical resources and opportunities to help your program and residents kick this new year off on the right start.

Use a Screen-in Process, Rather Than Filtering Out

Based on the Residency Selection Improvement Initiative work, residency programs are encouraged to evaluate their process of reviewing applications to expand their pool of applicants, including using a mission-aligned process to screen in applicants rather than filtering out individuals.
